Cash Flow
Building Uganda’s leading agribusiness: driving value, providing mechanized equipment, and growing food systems from the ground up.
Agribusiness has always been our goal. Founded as Way to Farm Ltd in 2015, we later rebranded and registered as The Farm Uganda Ltd, thanks to the generous contributions of individuals and groups from several countries.
To be Uganda’s leading agribusiness, driving value addition and providing affordable mechanized equipment to small and medium-scale farmers to boost national production.
From pasture to product — every part of the animal serves a purpose. We rear hardy breeds prized for flavour-rich meat and dense, durable hides.
Mutton — the meat of a mature sheep — is one of the world's oldest and most deeply flavoured proteins. Unlike lamb, mutton develops its full character over 12 to 24 months on pasture, producing dark, well-marbled cuts that reward slow cooking and bold spicing.
Beyond the table, sheepskin is among the most versatile natural hides available. Properly cured and tanned, it yields supple leather for garments and accessories, dense wool-on pelts for insulation, and raw parchment for speciality trades. Nothing is wasted.
Our flock is raised on rotational grazing — moving pastures regularly to promote healthy forage, reduce disease pressure, and build soil. Stress-free handling throughout the animal's life produces both better meat quality and cleaner, undamaged hides at harvest.
Diversification to increase cash flow has also driven us into poultry farming. We brood and sell one-month-old (vaccinated) indigenous-like free-range chickens to small- and medium-scale farmers in Kitumbi sub-county, Kassanda district, Uganda.
There is a huge unmet demand for indigenous free-range chicken and eggs because of their superior nutritious value.
We offer fresh Mutton. Experience the rich and savory flavors of our frozen mutton selection, offering a taste of tradition and quality for your dishes.
Part of our vision is to be a diversified and integrated community based farming enterprise and as such we have started and manage other projects like a 10 acre banana plantation, Maize, Soya bean, Cassava and local chicken whose eggs go for a premium.
